Jean-Baptiste Marre

Jean-Baptiste Marre has a degree in international private law (University of Paris II Panthéon Assas) and has practiced Chinese for several years, both at university (INALCO) and in China.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2011, he worked in a law firm at the Council of State and the Court of Cassation where he acquired solid legal knowledge, before becoming an associate of Pierre Haik and Jacqueline Laffont for 5 years where he was able to practice criminal law on a daily basis in various and complex cases. He advises companies, elected officials and individuals in criminal litigation, particularly in business, stock market, tax and employment matters, as well as in internal investigations.

Jean-Baptiste has also worked on individual sanctions cases before the United Nations sanctions committees and the European Union courts.

He has also acquired solid experience in defamation and reputation management proceedings.
